Gough Walk Surgery

Welcome to Gough Walk Surgery

We are a small friendly team. We are here to provide an effective healthcare service in order to meet the medical needs of our patients, and encourage health promotion to improve the health  of our patients.

We aim to offer appointments when you want them in comfortable surroundings with polite and friendly staff. We want all patients to get an appointment and a service to suit their lifestyle.

In addition to the GPs we offer a wide range of other services including: Home Visits, Psychologist, Health Visitors, Antenatal Clinic, Blood Clinics, New Patient Health Checks, Nurse Clinics.

COVID-19 Vaccines

We urge everyone aged 40 and above who has not yet had their first vaccine to book on the national booking system or wait to get a text or letter to book at alternative sites.

Anyone over 60 or who is clinical vulnerable (moderate risk) can book on the national site or call their GP.

If you have had your first vaccine, please make sure you have the second vaccine to ensure maximum protection. If you don't hear about your second vaccination and it is more than 77 days since your first vaccine, there's information on how to get your second dose.

There is comprehensive information, guidance and answers to questions, including vaccination information for frontline health and social care staff and carers at COVID-19 Vaccination programme | East London Health & Care Partnership (eastlondonhcp.nhs.uk).

Most consultations are over the phone and via video. This is for everyone's safety. We will assess your situation and invite you into the practice if needed.

We can arrange same-day appointments if you need urgent care but please don't visit without an appointment. Appointments will be held in the best way to keep you safe from COVID.

You can also contact 111, day or night, for other urgent health advice - including if you have concerns about your COVID-19 symptoms.

Please remember that 999 and A&E are for emergencies.

Please help reduce infections, protect the NHS and keep each other safe by following the lastest rules.

Tower Hamlets Primary Care Vaccination Programme

Since December, the Tower Hamlets GP Care Group has been running the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme on behalf of the borough's GP practices. Vaccinations are strictly by appointment only and individuals are contacted in the order of the priority groups identified by NHS England.

The eligible priority groups that have been vaccinated by this programme so far in Tower Hamlets are listed on the GP Care Group website. Click here to view eligible groups.

Eligible younger cohorts are advised to visit the National Booking Helpline here

If you're eligible to have the COVID-19 vaccination and would like to book your appointment or need support, please contact the council's COVID-19 helpline on 020 7364 3030.

COVID-19 vaccinations are available from the Art Pavilion, Mile End Park, Clinton Road, London, E3 4QY.

Mile End Park has produced a map offering a visual, step-free guide from Mile End Underground Station to The Art Pavilion.

Just like the first dose, eligible individuals will be contacted when it is time for them to have their second dose. However, the GP Care Group has provided a second dose eligibility window here.

Find out more about the vaccination programme on the GP Care Group's website.

More information can be found on Tower Hamlets Council's website.
